Job Description
The Graduate Nursing Department at Misericordia Universityseeks adjunct faculty members to teach in the MSN and DNP programs. Graduate programs include preparation for Family Individual Across the LifeSpan Nurse Practitioners and AdultGerontology Nurse Practitioners via the MSN BSNDNP or PostMasters Certificate. There is also an MSN to DNP program for practicing APRNs.
Adjunct faculty members are needed for a variety of courses within the graduate program starting Summer 2025 and into theacademic year. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until all the department needs are met.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Earned doctorate (DNP or PhD) in nursing from an accredited institution
- MSN or postmasters certificate as a family or adultgerontology nurse practitioner
- Current unencumbered Pennsylvania Registered Nurse and CRNP licenses with current national board certification in area of practice
- Teaching experience at the graduate level preferably in the online format
- Experience overseeing graduate students in clinical practice settings
