Job Description
Scope of Position
Lewis and Clark Community College is currently seeking an Adjunct Avionics to work on the Godfrey IL campus. LCs Mission is to empower people by raising aspirations and fostering achievement through dynamic compassionate and responsible learning experiences. Key Measurable Expectations (KMEs)
- Develop and teach avionics courses;
- Create administer and grade assignments;
- Calculate and submit grades for students;
- Remain current on processes and practices in the field of avionics;
- Provide support and guidance for students as needed.
Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions
- At least 2000 hours of work experience in Avionics;
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills;
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher in Avionics or closely related field;
- Teaching experience at the community college level;
- Experience with curriculum development.
