Job Description

Job Description Summary

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead global product management across a team (including but not limited to engineering quality regulatory region commercial teams services research clinical marketing sourcing supply chain) to deliver Ultrasound Digital solutions that extend and enhance the customer experience across the entire Ultrasound device portfolio. In this role you will maximize the franchise value over the lifecycle of the portfolio and deliver on key business metrics with the goal of increasing franchise margins and market share.

Job Description

In this role you will:

  • Ensure customer focus by communicating and building rapport with customers as required and ensuring the voice of the customer is reflected in all ecosystem solutions designed built and delivered
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to translate customer needs market and competitive analysis regulatory requirements and other factors into product strategy and detailed design inputs
  • Drive Ultrasound Digital portfolio to meet the needs of customers and market in a differentiated way
  • Be responsible for strategy and of the product roadmaps and new product introductions
  • Define and own business cases in collaboration with Ultrasound segment product managers
  • Develop and adapt business models as the digital healthcare market continues to evolve
  • Maximize customer satisfaction and engagement with our solutions
  • Lead a crossfunctional team to deliver world class solutions to customers while ensuring compliance with quality systems regulatory requirements and commercial process
  • Partner with internal and external domain experts to highlight emerging practice trends and product/content needs of the customer
  • Support team by resolving roadblocks and organizational interdependencies
  • Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting at various levels of the organization including leadership and executives
  • Track metrics budgets programs and projects using Lean principals

Quality Specific Goals:

  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual Quality Management System Quality Management Policy Quality Goals and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
  • Identify continuous improvement activities by initiating the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors (Science Technology Engineering and Math)
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in product management product marketing product development and/or related field leading cross functional product lifecycle management and/or large global projects (OR Masters degree with 6 years of experience)

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Must be willing to work out of an office located in Wisconsin

  • Demonstrated competency in providing leadership and direction to crossfunctional teams and resources
  • Proven experience in product lifecycle management
  • Experience managing financials including business cases budgets spend and liquidations
  • Demonstrated customer focus evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve creates actionable strategies and operational plans
  • Change oriented actively generates process improvements champions and drives change initiatives confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly

Business Acumen:

  • Demonstrate ability to engage and communicate with customers
  • Expert in navigating through business ambiguity and bringing clarity to business leaders and the team
  • Demonstrate detailed knowledge of business operations and strategic direction including merger & acquisition opportunities
  • Understands Medical Device Design Principals requirements for meeting various country regulatory clearances and demonstrates awareness of industry dynamics
  • Understands industry trends and competitive landscape and the implications for GEHC business; partner with business leaders to align projects with business goals and needs

  • Strong leadership skills with ability to influence outcomes and organize teams to attain shared goals
  • Recommends allocation of budget to meet product or business success
  • Facilitates dialogues that leads to actionable recommendations to mitigate risks or remove roadblocks
  • Influences through others; uses experts or other third parties to influence; builds direct and behind the scenes (indirect) support for ideas
  • Experience leading and working with global teams
  • Applies knowledge to coach and mentor others

  • Demonstrates strong presentation skills; able to effectively present to senior leaders in a concise manner appropriately communicating the status and risks of a program

  • Takes a holistic perspective objectively compares multiple tradeoffs and empathizes with multiple points of view
