Biomedical Equipment Technician IILocation: Los Angeles CAJob Description:The Biomedical Equipment Technician II is responsible for the installation maintenance calibration and repair of complex biomedical equipment and systems. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and knowledge of electronic mechanical and computer systems. The Biomedical Equipment Technician II will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and meets regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:- Install maintain calibrate and repair complex biomedical equipment and systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies
- Document all work performed in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Provide technical support and training to users of equipment
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
Requirements:- Associates degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the installation maintenance calibration and repair of biomedical equipment and systems
- Knowledge of electronic mechanical and computer systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Must pass background and drug screen.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Hourly Pay: $27.00 $30.00
