The University of Vermonts Office of Student Financial Services is seeking an Administration Specialist. The Administration Specialist is responsible for reviewing and analyzing accounting and financial aid transactions for student accounts and financial aid administration. They post daily financial transactions including payments and refunds while meeting Federal State and University policies and administer various financial aid and student account programs to ensure accuracy and compliance. This position is also responsible for maintaining and protecting accurate student records ensuring that documents received are complete and processed in accordance with operational procedures and will provide exceptional service to students families and campus partners.
Desirable Qualifications
Financial aid and/or accounting background including familiarity with IRS documentation and procedures is highly desired as is previous employment in a higher education setting experience with student information systems and strong desktop and office automation skills.
