Overview:

  • Part-time (0.4FTE Ideally Monday and Friday) Continuing position
  • Salary HEW 5 ($80943 - $92979) 17% Superannuation and Hybrid Working Arrangements
  • Based at the Melbourne CBD campus

About the Role

The Administration Assistant Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is responsible for providing quality and timely administrative support related to key operational WIL activities including internships placements and work-based learning and associated events and services across media communication and design disciplines.

The role is responsible for the day-to-day administration of WIL including processing agreements supporting database management activities and active engaging with academics and students. A strong customer service focus is essential and the role is also expected to contribute to service improvement initiatives.

To be successful in this position youll have:

  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of high quality administration services in a customer focused environment preferably in a large and complex organisation.
  • Excellent organisational and problem solving skills including a proven ability to meet tight timelines manage multiple tasks and readjust workload priorities to meet conflicting deadlines.
  • Highly developed customer relations and interpersonal skills including ability to tailor communication styles to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to correctly interpret policies and procedures provide accurate advice and communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and work cooperatively within a team setting.

Please Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.
