Function Overview:
As an Engineering Coop at Toyota you will gain new experience relation to your major participate in a worldrenowned production system practice what you learn in class through handson applications network with professionals in your field of interest test drive a career and get a better grasp of your goals and interests expand your technical skill and develop a confident professional image.
Coops will work on a variety of engineering assignments in one of the following groups: Body Weld Paint Assembly Stamping Plastics Powertrain Production Control Production Engineering & Raw Materials. Projects can range from vehicle design targeting cost or defect reductions improving machine efficiency collecting and analyzing production data redesigning parts/components for improved manufacturability analyzing/improving floor layouts implementing safety checks and processes among many other projects and responsibilities.
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a fulltime accredited Bachelors or above degree program studying Engineering in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical Electrical Chemical Industrial Manufacturing
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Have lawful unlimited authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship both now and in the future.
- Seeking sophomores and above that would be available to work during the Summer 2024 term with a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher.
- Must demonstrate a genuine interest in and willingness to work in the automotive/mobility industry postgraduation.
