Job Description

KYM Advisors is seeking a Junior Declassification Analyst to help our Federal client to oversee an Army Declassification Directorate with Declassification Program Support Services. Our team is assisting the Army in revitalizing and streamlining this program to achieve economy and efficiency in the management of Army records.

Responsibilities:

  • Declassification review of technical and nontechnical classified records as it pertains to Classified National Security Information
  • Determine and/or develop system specifications input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility
  • Apply standard principles theories and concepts to the solutions of problems of moderate or diverse scope

Requirements:

One of the following:

  • At least two 2 years of military experience OR
  • At least two 2 years of experience in the field of specialized expertise which include performance of the following functions with respect to Army Records Management to include Declassification FOIA or Privacy OR
  • A bachelors or postgraduate degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Must have the ability perform indepth reviews and evaluations on records using the declassification review process provide solutions to analytical problems be cognizant of different agencies equities and exhibit knowledge of the proper use of acronyms and document dispositions rendered on documents reviewed.
  • Must have experience working on classified projects and proficient with safeguarding maintaining and the proper handling and reporting procedures affiliated with the handling of classified records
  • Must have an active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI. Note: Top Secret Clearance Requires U.S. Citizenship
