Job Description:
The Quality Control (QC) Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment with a background in military and aerospace standards such as AS9100 MILPRF19500 and MILSTD750.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the QC team to ensure all products meet the required quality standards through incoming inprocess and outgoing inspections.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures and processes in compliance with AS9100 MILPRF19500 and MILSTD750.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standard procedures and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including engineering production and supply chain to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Train and mentor QC staff on quality control procedures standards and best practices.
- Prepare quality reports for management.
- Ensure all quality control documentation is accurate uptodate and properly maintained.
- Ensure all quality control activities are documented accurately and in a timely manner utilizing tools including manufacturing software Microsoft Dynamics Axapta.
- Stay current with industry standards and advancements in quality control methodologies.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing quality control preferably within the aerospace or defense industry.
- Knowledge of AS9100 MILPRF19500 and MILSTD750 standards is preferred.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality work.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing ERP and quality tools and software Microsoft Dynamics Axapta preferred.
- Bachelors degree is preferred.
