We are seeking a hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team for a 6month project in Homestead FL. This role is essential in supporting construction activities including site preparation material handling and assisting equipment operators. The ideal candidate will have
experience in construction roadwork or utility projects and be comfortable working in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with general site preparation including clearing debris and setting up work areas.
Load unload and move materials tools and equipment as needed.
Work alongside equipment operators assisting with excavation trenching and grading
tasks.
Follow safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all
times.
Operate basic hand and power tools for construction and maintenance tasks.
Perform manual labor including digging lifting and carrying heavy materials.
Help maintain a clean and organized job site to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Experience in construction roadwork or utility labor preferred.
OSHA 40hour certification preferred but not required.
Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment operation.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Capable of performing physically demanding tasks including bending kneeling and
standing for long periods.
Work Environment:
Outdoor construction site with exposure to dirt dust and varying terrain.
Must wear required PPE including hard hats gloves safety glasses and steeltoed
boots.
Fastpaced environment with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.
