Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will support the Tax Manager in meeting tax compliance obligations and provide assistance as required.
What Youll Do
- Preparation of tax effect accounting calculations for the 30 June 2025 financial year end and income tax returns including detailed work papers
- Assistance with the preparation of the 2025 fringe benefits tax returns
- Perform analysis of fixed assets from a tax perspective and ensure complete and accurate tax fixed asset registers
- Provide ad hoc support to the Tax Manager
What Youll Bring
- Commerce degree or equivalent
- At least 4 years experience in a professional services firm and/or corporate tax function across FBT income tax and tax accounting
- Proficient in tax effect accounting and strong excel skills
- Strong communication skills as well as an ability to work independently
- Hands on approach to understanding and navigating systems to collate data for tax analysis
- Knowledge of business accounting principles
