Job Description

  • Looking for and opportunity to step into a CDP position then this is the role for you!
  • Create an impact for our guests in this fulltime handson position
  • Ensure our resort guests have a mouth watering dining experience and make holiday memories

What youll do:

Our Food and Beverage offering is fully licensed with an a la carte in room cafe and poolside dining menu and wine list that will please all palates and cater for all budgets.  The resort also houses a conference and events facility which can accommodate up to 180 people for wedding conferences or corporate events.

We pride ourselves on excellent guest services and ensuring those that stay with us have a memorable experience!  Under the direction of the Head Chef you will be responsible for kitchen coordination including prep service portion and stock control and for the supervision and training of other kitchen staff as required.  

What youll bring:  

  • A qualification in commercial cookery or applicable trade testing
  • Previous experience in a restaurant club kitchen resort or caf
  • A working understanding of Food Safety principles and workplace health and safety
  • Experience in ordering and stock control
  • Willing to be part of a greater team and jump in to assist as needed whether it be during daily service or a large event
  • A passion for your trade and for creating and presenting contemporary dishes using local produce
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to work productively in a fastpaced buzzing work environment dealing with a high volume of covers in times of peak demand or in servicing group bookings
