Job Description
The A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University is seeking applicants for a nontenure system faculty position (Professor of Practice) in Management Science. This is a fulltime one two or threeyear appointment in the business schools Management Science area. The position starts July 1 2025. Salary teaching load and benefits are commensurate with other major research institutions. Hiring for this position is subject to final budgetary approval by the university.
Professors of Practice teach rigorous and engaging undergraduate and/or graduate courses across different teaching modalities (with a focus on experiential learning) remain current and relevant in ones teaching field through professional and/or scholarly engagement activities and participate in service to the Freeman School and Tulane University.
Candidates are expected to be either professionally qualified (i.e. Masters Degree or Ph.D. in Management Science or a related field and a substantial record of recentprofessional experience) or academically qualified (i.e. Ph.D. in Management Science and actively engaged in scholarly and/or professional engagement activities). We seek collegial candidates with demonstrated excellence in communication skills and/or success in classroom teaching experience with teaching Excel and an interest in developing and coordinating hybrid large scale courses to enhance students knowledge in Excel and statistics.
