Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our construction and infrastructure projects you will be responsible for managing costs contracts and financial aspects of largescale developments in the region.

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for complex construction projects
  • Manage and control project costs throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Oversee procurement processes and contract management ensuring compliance with local regulations
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement value engineering strategies
  • Monitor project performance and prepare comprehensive financial reports
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including asset management operations and maintenance
  • Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental standards
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients contractors and stakeholders
  • Implement sustainable practices and contribute to corporate social responsibility initiatives
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quantity surveying and cost management

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying or related field; Masters degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on Rail infrastructure and civil engineering projects
  • Indepth knowledge of Saudi Arabian construction regulations procurement practices and industry standards
  • Proven track record in cost estimating budgeting and financial reporting for largescale projects in the Middle East
  • Strong understanding of contract management particularly NEC contracts and public procurement regulations
  • Familiarity with asset management principles and lifecycle costing in infrastructure projects
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in financial and project management software including Microsoft Excel and Project
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to diverse stakeholders
  • Experience working in multicultural environments and adapting to local business practices
  • Professional certification such as RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) membership is highly desirable
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
