We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our construction and infrastructure projects you will be responsible for managing costs contracts and financial aspects of largescale developments in the region.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for complex construction projects
- Manage and control project costs throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Oversee procurement processes and contract management ensuring compliance with local regulations
- Conduct risk assessments and implement value engineering strategies
- Monitor project performance and prepare comprehensive financial reports
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including asset management operations and maintenance
- Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental standards
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients contractors and stakeholders
- Implement sustainable practices and contribute to corporate social responsibility initiatives
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quantity surveying and cost management
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying or related field; Masters degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on Rail infrastructure and civil engineering projects
- Indepth knowledge of Saudi Arabian construction regulations procurement practices and industry standards
- Proven track record in cost estimating budgeting and financial reporting for largescale projects in the Middle East
- Strong understanding of contract management particularly NEC contracts and public procurement regulations
- Familiarity with asset management principles and lifecycle costing in infrastructure projects
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in financial and project management software including Microsoft Excel and Project
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to diverse stakeholders
- Experience working in multicultural environments and adapting to local business practices
- Professional certification such as RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) membership is highly desirable
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
