Metal Fabrication Manufacturing Engineer

We are supporting a high growth leading manufacturer they an opening on their team for a Manufacturing Engineer. This role is located in Elkhart and is responsible for supporting production needs by programing and supporting fabrication equipment.
Metal Fabrication Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities and qualifications include:
- Oversee weld processes and production support specifically focused on MIG TIG Robotics.
- Improve welding process that impact overall product quality while positively effecting quality and delivery issues.
- Be the technical goto on all welding related issues.
- Advise on new welding technology including equipment and processes.
- Design build test and implement production tooling where necessary
Metal Fabrication Manufacturing Engineer Skills & Knowledge:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field desired or equivalent qualification or a combination of jobrelated education.
- Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience with metal fabrication welding or CNC programming required.
