The Role
What is the role
We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our growing team in CPT.
What you will be exposed to:
- Monthly accounting and processing for a portfolio of SMEs.
- Payroll processing via Simple Pay.
- Legislative processing (i.e All SARS types of returns VAT PAYE ITR
- Engaging with clients and solving accounting problems. Communicating with clients on accounting needs and processing. Building strong client relationships
- Provisional Tax calculations and discussions with clients.
- Adhoc accounting project work queries and advice as requested from clients.
- Providing financial management support to SMEs.
What do you need to have
- Be someone who wants to learn and is willing to take on new challenges. This will suit someone who enjoys the idea of working with Startups and Small businesses.
- Someone who wants to learn and grow and has a good knowledge of working on computers and the ability to learn various software packages.
- You are on track to attain your CGMA or Professional Accountant (SA) with completed articles.
- Degree/Honours Degree in Management Accounting or Accounting.
- Experience in cloud base systems such as XERO Dext/Hubdoc SimplePay Dear Systems Vend.
- Experience in drafting Annual Financial Statements on CaseWare or DraftWorx
- Experience in a clientfacing role
- 35 years experience in an accountingrelated role.
