Job Description
US Heart and Vascular has an excellent full time employment opportunity with benefits for an experienced Cardiovascular Sonographer at our Plano West clinic located in South Arlington TX. A minimum of three years of working experience as a registered Cardiovascular Sonographer is required.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs 2D Echo and Doppler studies.
Performs Stress Echo studies.
Responsible for performing a variety of noninvasive vascular evaluations
Explains procedures to patients and obtains informed consent from patient.
Obtains insurance precertification for testing as necessary.
Performs test result abstracting to EMR as necessary.
Duties responsibilities and activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
May be required to move between locations as needed.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
At least 3 years of practical experience.
Currently registered as a Cardiac Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI.
Currently registered as a Vascular Sonographer or vascular registry eligible and completed by deadline set by the Company.
Current CPR certification.
