Full time Chief Care Management Officer 1082
A growing healthcare organization is seeking a Chief Care Management Officer to direct the development revision and implementation of care management policies and procedures ensuring alignment with NYS/OPWDD Health Home regulations.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with the quality department to set quality goals and establish methods and tools for staff audits evaluation and assessments.
Responsibilities Include:
- Spearhead the development and implementation of care management strategies fostering a patientcentered approach to healthcare delivery.
- Provide highlevel oversight to the VPs of Care Management and Care Management workforce ensuring their growth and success.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices in care management.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care management programs identifying areas for growth and improvement.
- Ensure that VPs of Care Management provide proper oversight to their Regional Director teams and Care Management staff in their established regions.
- Participate in regular meetings with the VPs of Care Management and other care management staff as necessary.
- Establish and maintain relationships with the appropriate OPWDD Regional Offices.
- Maintain ongoing contact with OPWDD for escalated issues and complaints.
- Work closely with the VPs of Care Management to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies maintaining the highest levels of patient safety and quality care.
- Participate in Family Webinars and mandatory corporate meetings as appropriate.
- Represent the organization on various Statewide and CCO committees.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Services or a related field is required.
- Masters degree or licensed professional preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of related Human Service experience including 5 years in IDD services.
- Three years of previous experience at a senior management level.
- Outstanding leadership qualities.
- Proficient in understanding the coordination and management of services for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Ability to negotiate multiple systems through interaction with other departments including but not limited to NotForProfit IDD providers and the healthcare system.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong organizational skills.
Salary:$150k $220k/Year
