Job Description
GiaCare Inc. is accepting applications for experienced civilian Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) to work at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in support of Ft. Bliss Army Base (El Paso Texas).
Qualifications:
Degree/Education:Certificate. Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant training program.
Certifications: Current certification as a Medical Assistant andBasic Life Support (BLS).
Experience: One 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant after graduation.
Duties:
- Prepare examination rooms prior to patients arrival.
- Assist with patient checkins admissions discharges transfers and appointment scheduling as directed.
- Check patients vital signs to include temperature respiration pulse weight blood pressure and pulse oximeter reading.
- Obtain and document patients current medical history drug history chief complaints allergies and vital signs on the correct form.
- Administer medications including injections after completing appropriate training and validation.
