Job Description
The College of Arts & Sciences at Syracuse University is looking for an individual to teach one section of WGS 201: Global Feminisms during Fall 2024. Course description: Introduces transnational feminist analysis and politics. Interdisciplinary exploration of how gender intersects with other forms of identity and is shaped by constructions of knowledge power and experience across local and global contexts. 3 credits)

Responsibilities
Teach WGS 101 Introduction to Womens & Gender Studies Develop and/or update class syllabus. Use Blackboard to post items and communicate with students. Order appropriate books and materials in advance of the class start. Prepare lectures projects and other student assignments. Maintain regularly scheduled office hours. Present instruction based on competencies and performance levels of the course. Meet all designated class periods. Submit midsemester reports and final grades according to University regulations. Provide feedback to students relating to progress in class through regular assessment means. Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner. Provide departmentally sanctioned forms for completed student evaluations. Build a positive rapport with student and other faculty.
