What youll be doing (and why youll enjoy it)
Initially you will be shadowing the senior sales engineers in the company who will mentor and guide you in the right direction. This includes identifying new business opportunities to nurturing relationships with existing clients conducting site visits preparing proposals and delivering technical presentations. Then in good time you will be driving sales growth within the mining minerals processing and industrial sectors on your own pace.
Youll work closely with internal teams to provide tailored solutions and stay ahead of industry trends. Attending industry events and exhibitions will keep you connected with key players in the sector and your ability to provide accurate sales forecasts will support strategic decisionmaking.

What youll need
First and foremost in order to succeed in this opportunity a clear hunger to learn and develop in the mining industry is a must! An additional benefit would be some kind of background in external sales with 12 years of experience in heavy industrial or engineering sectors. Holding Matric is essential and having a technical trade is a nice extra. Being wellspoken know how to negotiate and have a technical mindset will allow you to be successful in this role. Youll need a valid drivers licence access to a vehicle and have willingness to travel on the odd occasion to visit clients and promote solutions with senior engineers. Note: this role requires you to be proficient in both English and Afrikaans.
