Job Description
Preservan is currently seeking Epoxy Techs to join our team to provide technical repair support to our clients. No experience is required as we provide comprehensive training in a twoweek program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service creative skills in crafting and shaping materials and be physically capable of performing the tasks required for the job. We are looking for an individual who is highly organized detailoriented and able to work independently.
At Preservan we save the future by preserving the past. We repair wood with high quality structural epoxies which we mix shape and then sand to create seamless repairs. Working mainly outdoors we travel around the Orlando area to clients homes and businesses to restore their structures by repairing wood rot.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct onsite evaluations of wood surfaces requiring repair.
- Apply and shape epoxy and other protective coatings using the approved techniques and equipment.
- Repair damaged wood surfaces including rot decay and other forms of deterioration.
- Ensure that projects are completed with the highest level of quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service including answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Maintain vehicle and tools in good repair.
- Take photos and maintain accurate records of repairs.
- Manage and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of projects.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work outdoors.
- Lift more than 50 lbs.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Will submit to background check.
- Job Stability: Average employment history 2 years.
