As a Team Leader of People Projects youll be leading a team of Project Managers that support work within the People & Places organization. Youll support your team by creating a strong vision clearing roadblocks and prioritizing team development. Ultimately you are accountable for the success of projects on your team by ensuring your team has strong communication accuracy in project plans appropriate thread tying and maintaining a strong delivery for our stakeholders.
About the Role
- Host weekly team meetings for team connectivity business updates and team operations
- Prioritize weekly 1:1s for team member to leader connectivity project support and bandwidth tracking
- Prepare monthly development conversations to prioritize a clear understanding of role expectations performance growth opportunities and goal progress
- Introduce new project management methodologies tools and resources for team continuous evolution
- Foster and sustain high team morale through volunteer opportunities teambuilding experiences professional development and everyday collaborative interactions
- Identify project meetings to attend with team for support and connectivity to teams work
- Report team updates to People & Places leadership group as needed
- Proactively tie threads with leaders of other partnering teams
About You
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in project management field including expertise with relevant tools and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team providing clear direction while fostering a positive highmorale environment.
- 48 years of experience in project management field
- Business Administration degree or equivalent experience in project management
- Experience with Monday or applicable operating system for tracking project work
- Experience with Excel and PowerPoint to showcase project overviews and milestones to stakeholders
- Inoffice Mondays & Tuesdays WFH WednesdayFriday
Preferred Qualifications:
- 24 years of experience in a leadership role
- Project Management certification
