Job Description
Your mission
Contribution to multidisciplinary teams with own scientific expertise to achieve corporate and customer goals of challenging drug discovery projects
Independent planning and of research projects also including review of scientific literature
Planning development implementation and optimization of protein production workflows
Characterization of challenging proteins by state of the art biochemical and biophysical methods
Preparation of relevant project documentation (i.e. project plans SOPs scientific presentations technical reports)
Presentation of the scientific results as well as convincing and confident communication of the content to colleagues customers and business partners

Your profile
PhD in protein biochemistry or related field with an excellent track record
Strong acquaintance with regard to rational construct design protein expression (bacterial insect mammalian) chromatographic purification techniques purification process optimization and protein characterization methods
Profound knowledge in structural biology (Xray or CryoEM)
Handson mentality with a problemsolving mindset and attention to details
Great interest in scientific project management
Experience with industrystandard operational management tools such as LIMS systems
Independent serviceoriented way of working with an outstanding team spirit and excellent organization and communication skills
