MiniCircuits designs manufactures and distributes integrated circuits modules and subsystems for highperformance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications.With design sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries MiniCircuits products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Our products are also used in detection measurement and imaging applications including military communication guidance and electronic countermeasure systems commercial scientific military land sea and aircraft; automotive systems medical systems and industrial test equipment.
MiniCircuits sells its products to over 20000 customers globally through our direct sales force applications engineering staff sales representatives as well as through our extensive website.
Position Summary:
The Engineering Software License Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the approval and management process for all engineering software tools. This role will require strong team collaboration working crossfunctionally with IT and the engineering team to continuously analyze engineering tool usage and capabilities to ensure we maximize team productivity and corporate scalability. Engaging regularly with the technical PoCs of various engineering software tool providers will also be required.
Salary Range:$150000 $175000 per year
Job Function:
- Working collaboratively with the IT team on infrastructure implementation and license installation and maintenance.
- Analyze and proactively manage license usage and topology implementation.
- Negotiate and manage licensing contracts.
- Continuous analysis of engineering software tools to support the business needs in driving efficiencies and key capabilities to standardize throughout the corporation.
- Collaborate with the legal team purchasing department and IT to ensure contracts align with corporate procedures.
- Ensure internal procedures are aligned with actual tool usage and procurement process and support internal/external audits.
- Collaborate with Finance to provide appropriate budget allocation throughout the business units and functions based on engineering software tool usage.
- Maintain current knowledge of licensing laws and regulations
- Lead technical discussions with tool vendors and support team to ensure appropriate tools installation and resolve technical issues that may arise
- Support vendor conferences and demonstrations to provide appropriate awareness to drive towards best engineering tool based on business needs.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree 4 years of experience in managing/using engineering software tools or related field OR
- Masters Degree 6 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 57 years of experience in Electronics semiconductor product development.
- Experience with complex modeling and simulation of RF systems.
- Strong knowledge and experience in the engineering product development process.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Resultoriented with a demonstrated ability to achieve through both collaboration and independent work.
- Experience in project management preferred.
