We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service delectable cuisine and a vibrant atmosphere.We are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team and become part of the Barometer family as we grow in multiple locations.
Job Description: As the General Manager of Barometer Waterfront Grill you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations including staff management financial performance customer service and ensuring a high standard of food and beverage quality. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation as a top dining destination and driving the business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Implement and maintain high standards for food quality service and cleanliness.
- Manage inventory ordering and cost control to maximize profitability.
- Staff Management:
- Recruit train and manage a diverse team of staff including chefs servers and support staff.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment promoting teamwork and employee development.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure an exceptional guest experience by addressing customer concerns and feedback promptly.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Oversee reservations special events and VIP services to exceed guest expectations.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets financial reports and forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Implement costsaving measures and revenuegenerating initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in a highvolume restaurant exceeding $5 million
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations financial management and staff management.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and Google.
- Passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
