Gatehouse & Collections Attendant

Manning Park Resort is ayearround resort located between Hope and Princeton BC. We are presently searchingfor our next talented team member as a Gatehouse Attendant to join our ParkOperations team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experiencecombined with working as an energetic part of our resort we want to hear fromyou.
Responsibilitiesinclude: (but not limited to)
* Collection of parks feesfirewood sales register campers.
* Complete end of shiftduties; balancing deposit completion of logbooks submitting deposit forsafekeeping).
* Monitor and provide reportson occupancy of campsites to Park Management.
* Provide site security andenforcement of Park policies; report incidents and occurrences efficiently tolead hand supervisor or manager.
* Ensure elevated levels ofcustomer service; provide campers with information on park activities (hikingfishing canoeing).
* Respond to campersinquiries and provide assistance when required.
* Represent BC Parks andManning Park Resort in a professional manner.
* Record and report trafficcounter results and park stats.
* Clean and maintain parksfacilities according to BC Parks standards (including but not limited to pittoilets garbage bins campsites picnic tables firepits communal areas washhouses and shower stalls).
* Emptying garbage andrecycling bins.
* Equipment inspection andmaintenance.
* Assist the operationdepartment with other tasks as required which may include but is not limited tocleaning and maintaining parks facilities such as pit toilets garbage binscampsites picnic tables firepits communal areas wash houses and shower stalls
JobRequirements / Qualifications:
* Willingness and ability towork outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Ability to work in ahighpaced environment as both an individual and team player.
* Effective time managementand organizational skills.
* Previous experiencehandling money and record keeping.
* Clean drivers abstract andcriminal record check.
*Minimum Class 5 drivers license.
* Available to work flexiblehours; morning/evening shifts will be required. 3240hrs per week.
* Able to lift and carry 50lbs.
* Basic First AidCertification 8hrs) is an asset.
* Experience with landscapingand working with power tools an asset.
* Value safe workingpractices.
* Fluent in English.
This is a Seasonal positionso you must be able to commit to the role for the full Summer Season(MayOctober).
