Job Description
Your mission
Create a worldclass cohesive onboarding experience that reduces friction for users and increases engagement conversion and adoption for the business. In this role youll be leading designers (of all crafts) working in the crossfunctional teams that make up Wises Onboarding squad. Together youll help people and businesses onboard to Wise ensuring they can move and manage their money anywhere in the world.
Heres how youll contribute
Partnering with PM and Engineering youll provide unified leadership ensuring design work is aligned with both tribe and business objectives
Leading the designers in the squad youll set the vision define strategy and coach teams to deliver it
Overseeing the design process from concept to youll ensure the creative vision is implemented consistently across key surfaces
Youll manage mentor and motivate the squads designers providing guidance fostering creativity pushing creative boundaries and strengthening our design culture
Youll level up design quality maturity and alignment across the tribe and other squads
Working with design leaders from other squads youll help build a single cohesive experience for every Wise customer
This role will give you the opportunity to:

About you:
Youre an accomplished design leader with several years experience leading teams to ship worldclass consumer products
You have an eye for quality and cohesion and know how to support designers to deliver both
Youre influential and inspiring able to lead others in a culture that values autonomy and empowerment
Youre highly empathetic to customers and the people you work with
Youre a trusted partner building effective relationships with your peers across the business
