Environmental Consultant India (Gurgaon/ Mumbai)

Role

ERM is looking for a motivated handson Consultant to join our LPMR team based out of either Mumbai Maharashtra or Gurgaon Haryana.

Responsibilities

Entry mid level consultants:

  • Clientoriented and targeted planning organization and of projects in the field of contaminated site investigation and remediation.
  • Executing environmental assessments and remediation programs involving the collection of field data (Soil soil vapour groundwater) as well as coordinating and supervising technical field work including the management of subcontractors onSite.
  • Electronic data management including the evaluation of results and preparation of reports and summaries.
  • Assist with the preparation of client proposals and creating opportunities for further business development.
  • Support project managers through planning and delivering field programs and/or budget/ task management.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Geosciences Environmental Sciences Environmental Engineering or related fields.
  • 1 2 years of professional experience in the field of contaminated site investigation.
  • High appreciation and understanding of health & safety requirements on work sites.
  • Fieldwork experience involving sampling of environmental media (soil water groundwater soil vapour etc..
  • Proven report writing skills and a familiarity with Microsoft Office Tools (Word Excel Powerpoint SharePoint etc. is expected.
  • Experience in field activities management including coordinating subcontractors.
  • Ability to succeed at a consulting pace handling multiple project assignments and maintaining flexibility while meeting strict deadlines.
