Job Description
Responsibilities
- Comprehension of engineering principles codes and standards in civil land development design including site layout grading erosion control storm sewer water sanitary sewer and roadway design.
- Possesses basic technical writing skills needed for civil reports and letters.
- Ability to work within your own team as well as other internal teams and clients.
- Draft plans using AutoCAD and Civil3D software.
- Adjust and correlate data recognize discrepancies in results and follow operations through a detailed processes.
- Assist in the preparation of improvement plans specifications supporting documents and permit applications for subdivisions commercial developments multifamily developments and public works projects.
- Participate in the preparation of calculations such as stormwater/drainage analysis wastewater system analysis water system analysis earthwork quantities transportation cost estimating and other supporting documentation for land development projects.
- Takes an active role in new business development by performing quality production work with collaboration attention to detail and responsiveness.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor of Engineering from a fouryear boardapproved engineering curriculum.
Experience
- Typically 24 years of experience.
- Possesses Engineering Intern certification or can take the Fundamentals of Engineering exam within six months of hire.
The estimated starting base salary for this role is $72000 $85000
