GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Working Location:Remote in Germany UK France (Hybrid from our Berlin / Paris office)

  • Reports to:VP Services Delivery & Solutions

YOUR CHALLENGE AT WIRE

The Presales Engineer plays an important role in Wires Commercial Organization. As a Presales Engineer you will support the sales process by providing indepth technical expertise and guidance during customer engagements. Wire is developing some of the most advanced encrypted communications solutions that are available. Customers come to Wire to find secure and innovative solutions for protecting their most sensitive information. Therefore you will need to develop a deep understanding of Wires products and technologies so that you can help the Sales Team articulate the benefits of Wires product portfolio. You will overcome technical objections that may be presented as obstacles or challenges during the sales process. This means that the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas is crucial to winning new business opportunities and helping Wire grow.

Wire offers both SaaS deployments for customers and onpremises deployments that include the entire serverclient architecture. Wires enduser applications span iOS Android Windows Mac and a webapplication. The Presales Engineer will help prospective customers understand the benefits of these deployment options and thus strengthen the value proposition of Wires product portfolio and lead to success in acquiring new customers.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Development:Collaborate with sales marketing product and customers to assess requirements and use cases for fit with Wire products and design tailored solutions for the public sector and critical national infrastructure markets.

  • Technical Leadership:Lead complex technical discussions regarding Wires technology security features & functionality and integrations.

  • Technical Expertise:Deliver proofofconcepts prototypes and demonstrations that highlight the value of our solutions.

  • Customer Advocacy:Build strong relationships with clients in theGerman UK and French markets addressing their technical needs and challenges.

  • MEDDPPIC Methodology:Leverage MEDDPPIC to qualify opportunities and align solutions with customer objectives.

  • ValueBased Selling:Map technical capabilities to business outcomes developing ROI analyses and business cases.

  • Collaboration:Partner with Sales Marketing and Product teams to align customer feedback with our roadmap and ensure customer success stories are shared.

  • Escalation Management:Resolve customer technical challenges promptly by coordinating with internal teams.

  • Market Knowledge:Stay updated on industry trends competitor solutions and product features.

  • Documentation: Assist with RFP/RFI responses and create technical documentation tailored to client needs.
YOUR PROFILE
  • Fluency in both German and English is essential; proficiency in French is a plus.

  • 5 years as a PreSales Engineer / Solutions Consultant OR 8 years in a Professional Services/Consulting role that is clientfacing and involves sales scenarios

  • Experience as a Team Lead Manager or more senior role.

  • Strong grasp ofMEDDPPIC methodologyandvaluebased sellingprinciples.

  • Demonstrated success in thepublic sectorandcritical national infrastructure markets.

  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into businessoriented solutions.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customerfirst mindset.

  • Selfmotivated and proactive with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Familiarity with secure communication technologies or SaaS platforms is a plus.

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
