The UNM Medical Group Inc is seeking an Fulltime Patient Services Coordinator to support in the Medical Records department.
Minimum $34299 Midpoint $42203*
*Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience.
*Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.
Summary:
Medical Records:
This position is responsible for managing patient and physicians requests for medical records assist with obtaining outside materials for UH HIM for scanning into Cerner. This position acquires the facility notes to send out to the referring and partnering physicians and functions as a collaborator with other functional departments within Patient Services. This position is critical to the overall success of the department by meeting established job requirements and performance goals in a very demanding and high producing clinic environment all while addressing and meeting the needs of the patients and/or physicians.
Minimum Job Requirements of a Patient Services Coordinator:
High school diploma or GED. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirements may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Verification of education and licensure (if applicable) will be required if selected for hire.
