The University of Virginias Department of Pediatrics Division of Adolescent Medicine seeks candidates for a fulltime faculty member at Assistant Associate or Full Professor rank. Salary rank and tenure status are dependent upon qualifications and experience. The incumbent will see patients and mentor trainees in a variety of clinical settings that could include our Teen and Young Adult Center Transgender Health clinic Eating Disorders clinic and adolescent medicine consult service. Strong interest or prior work with substance abuse or other addiction experience and reproductive health is preferred. All Adolescent Medicine faculty members share call and weekend/holiday coverage. There are also exciting opportunities in the Divisions growing research advocacy and quality improvement activities.

Candidates must have an MD or DO degree and be boardcertified/boardeligible in general pediatrics. Experience or a fellowship in adolescent medicine is preferred but not required.
