Position Overview:
As our Kitchen Designer and Sales Consultant you will engage directly with customers in our showroom turning walkin prospects into satisfied clients. Your role will be crucial in generating new leads designing custom kitchen solutions and managing the entire sales process from initial consultation to postinstallation followup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in home sales consultation and provide custom kitchen solutions to our customers.
- Engage with showroom visitors registering them in our lead tracking system and nurturing these prospects into clients.
- Generate new leads via personal contacts social media and community engagement.
- Conduct detailed site measurements and create custom cabinet layouts.
- Develop comprehensive proposals and presentations tailored to meet client needs.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact through to postinstallation followup ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with project managers and installers to ensure timely and accurate product ordering and installation.
- Participate in local home/trade shows as part of our promotional activities.

Ideal Candidate Qualities:
- Proven negotiation skills with a strong track record in sales preferably in the home improvement sector.
- Selfstarter with a conscientious work ethic and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Professional demeanor suitable for interacting with clients in their homes.
- Experience with design software (e.g. 20/20 Design) is preferred.
