Job Description

Summary

To help manage a rapidly expanding fleet vehicle hubs and supply warehouses the logistics team has decentralized and utilizes an external support team that comes in the form of Regional Logistics Officers. These employees provide critical support for the logistics function and its team members working out of HQ while simultaneously serving as a single point of contact for all field teams within their respective region for all logistics subfunctions (Fleet Materials Uniforms & Travel). Additionally RLOs strategically positioning provides many strategic and logistical advantages during an EOC activation.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with regional operations team to effectively predict and manage new site launches
  • Work with HQ Quality Assurance team to monitor and maintain quality and compliance of regional fleet including rental vehicles
  • Work with HQ team to manage and monitor inventory quantities in regional warehouse. This includes Fleet (inventoried vehicles) materials (operational supplies) and uniforms
  • Distribute aforementioned items as needed and track district quantities accordingly
  • Collaborate and report to corporate resources as needed to coordinate key activities
  • Track key performance indicators including fleet fuel costs maintenance costs accident costs and shipping costs
  • Provide guidance to operations team regarding all supply chain and logistics related tasks
  • Manage a network of vendors and partners to ensure the overall health of Brosnans logistics operations remains in good standing
  • Audit monthly inventory levels in respective jurisdiction
  • Work with HQ QA team to coordinate travel for field teams as needed
  • Conduct regular fuel mileage and inventory audits.
  • Assist in Emergency Response (EOC) activations as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university preferred
  • 12 years relevant work experience in warehousing supply chain logistics or fleet management
  • Ability to travel approximately 30 of the year
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (Word Excel)
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment particularly across various business units and functions
  • Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance
  • Ability to lift at least 20 pounds
