The Telecoms Field Engineeris responsible for the installation maintenance and
repair oftelecommunications systems and equipment. This role involves fieldwork
where the engineer willvisit customer sites ensure proper installation and
functioning of telecomsinfrastructure and troubleshoot any issues. The Telecoms
Field Engineer will workclosely with both customers and internal teams to ensure
seamless service delivery

Role andResponsibilities:
- Installconfigure and test telecommunications equipment such as routersswitches voice systems fibre optics wireless network and CCTV.
- Set up customerpremises equipment ensuring all services are functioning asrequired.
- Perform onsitesurveys to assess installation requirements.
- Diagnose andrepair faults in telecoms equipment including hardware failuresand network issues.
- Conduct routinemaintenance and preventive checks on telecom systems toensure optimal performance.
- Respond toservice outages ensuring timely restoration of services.
- Provide clearand professional communication with customers regardinginstallation and service issues.
- Offer technicalsupport and guidance to customers ensuring they understandhow to use the equipment and services.
- Address customerconcerns and escalate issues to higherlevel support whennecessary.
- Maintainaccurate records of all installations maintenance and repair workcompleted.
- Updatepostinstallation reports on any work completed issues resolvedongoing concerns and anything outstanding.
