Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
Liferay Development
- Design develop and maintain custom Liferay portlets themes and extensions.
- Optimize Liferay solutions for performance and scalability.
- Integrate Liferay with thirdparty applications and APIs.
Backend Development
- Build and maintain robust serverside applications using Java and frameworks like Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Ensure secure and efficient database operations with relational and NoSQL databases.
Frontend Development
- Develop responsive userfriendly interfaces using HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and modern frameworks like React Angular or Vue.js.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver intuitive and visually appealing user experiences.
Mobile Application Development
- Develop and maintain native iOS applications using Swift adhering to Apples design and development standards.
- Build and optimize Android applications using Java following Android best practices.
- Ensure seamless integration between mobile apps and backend systems.
- Optimize mobile apps for performance usability and security.
DevOps & Kubernetes
- Manage and optimize deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab CI/CD or similar.
- Deploy monitor and maintain containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement DevOps practices to enhance system reliability scalability and security.
Collaboration & Agile Practices
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including product managers designers and QA engineers.
- Participate in code reviews offer constructive feedback and mentor junior developers.
Troubleshooting & Optimization
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the stack.
- Debug applications at the system application and mobile levels to ensure reliability.
Qualifications/Experience:
Technical Skills
- Programming: Proficient in Java JavaScript/TypeScript and Swift.
- Frameworks/Platforms: Experience with Liferay Spring Boot Hibernate Android SDK and iOS development tools.
- DevOps Tools: Expertise in Kubernetes Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Frontend Development: Proficiency in React Angular or Vue.js.
- Mobile Development: Strong expertise in developing and deploying applications for Android and iOS.
- Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with AWS Azure or GCP.
- APIs & Microservices: Experience in RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Teamoriented mindset with the ability to collaborate in a crossfunctional environment.
- Proactive selfmotivated and eager to learn emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science Software Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in full stack development with a focus on enterpriselevel and mobile applications.
- Proven expertise in Liferay and deploying applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of crossplatform development frameworks like Flutter or React Native.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of Agile development practices and cloud platforms.
