Job Description
AOI (Construction) has an opening for an experienced senior project manager/project executive.
AOI is a commercial general contractor who enjoys long term relationships with some of the business communitys most prestigious organizations. The person who fills this role will be first and foremost a builder with a proven history of delivering successful project outcomes beyond ontime and onbudget. The successful candidate will:
- Have proven experience in interpreting architectural plans and specifications and developing construction documents utilized by a commercial general contractor.
- Possess strong conceptual estimating experience developing and writing scopes of work and proposals as well as other project correspondence.
- Be adept at developing and managing a critical path schedule planning directing and coordinating activities of company and subcontracted personnel to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters particularly in a way that leads to credibility confidence and trust.
- Understand how to develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients developers architects and designers subcontractors and suppliers and other project stakeholders. This requires the ability to consult with a client on project needs and develop a proactive approach to ease concerns overcome or eliminate issues and deliver confidence and trust fully owning the project.
- Value a strong work ethic commitment to excellence and personal integrity.
In addition the ideal person will have a passion for interior renovation and build out of Class A office and other commercial environments with experience in adjacent markets preferred.
They will also possess enthusiasm and appreciation of AOIs unique and diverse business model and how it serves existing and prospective customers. This includes separate business units that provide contract furniture and prefabricated construction solutions.
