Position Purpose:
The primary purpose of this role is to develop and implement assortment pricing and promotional strategies for a subset of Home Depots online offering.
The Sr. Manager Online Merchandising will partner with Merchants and other internal partners to align on a strategy and executional plan for driving improvements in the merchandising capabilities and overall assortment. Establish a prioritization framework and plan for successful .
The Sr. Manager Online Merchandising will manage a subset of the online assortment programs and be responsible for engagement and organizational alignment to deliver their goals. This position is responsible for developing strong partnerships with Merchants Assortment Planning Online Merchandising/Ops and other groups as needed to ensure solutions meet needs of the organization.
This individual provides direct leadership/management of 46 professionals and works closely with business partners to ensure organizational objectives are met. This role requires preparation and delivery of presentations and written documentation to all levels of the organization to communicate the various aspects of merchandising initiatives including goals timelines and detailed updates.
Key Responsibilities:
40 Uses independent thinking and judgment to identify and implement assortment planning processes to improve overall assortment planning and strategy.
20 Lead online team that strategizes around and plans assortment pricing and promotional strategies.
20 Work across the organization to understand opportunities for how to better support Home Depots stores and Online merchandising groups
