Summary
Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) invites Obstetric Gynecologist(OB/GYN) Physicians to apply for an outstanding Inpatient OB/GYN Hospitalist hospitalemployed opportunity at Manchester Memorial Hospital an AwardWinning Hospital.
Position Highlights:
- A flexible schedule of 7 to 8 24hour) shifts per month
- Providing inpatient OB/GYN floor consultations and emergency room coverage
- Multidisciplinary approach and supportive team
- Managing the obstetric unit
- Performing obstetric triage
- Weekend crosscoverage with other local collaborative groups
- Level 3 Neonatology Intensive Care Unit with infant nursery
- ECHNs Family Birthing Center has 20 private rooms with approximately 1600 hundred annual deliveries
The team is anchored by exceptionally talented obstetrics and gynecology physicians neonatology/nurse midwives and nurse practitioners/physician assistants. ECHNs strong partnership with Connecticut Childrens Medical Center further supports ECHNs Level III Neonatology (NICU) Unit withexpert neonatologists neonatology nurses lactation consultants pediatricians physician therapists respiratory therapists and social workers. Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Obstetric Gynecologist (OB/GYN) Physician
- Connecticut Licensed Federal DEA and Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) or soon eligible
