Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and creative UI Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user interface and user experience design & implementation coupled with leadership skills to guide a team of UI designers and developers. This role involves working closely with multiple teams UX designers and developers to create visually appealing userfriendly and responsive interfaces. The UI Lead will guide the UI team in best practices ensure consistency in design and enhance the overall user experience. The UI Lead will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of usercentric interfaces ensuring an optimal user experience across all digital platforms.
You would be expected to :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with product managers developers and stakeholders to define design requirements and project goals.
- Create wireframes prototypes and highfidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
- Ensure designs are consistent with brand guidelines and design standards.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of UI components to ensure highquality deliverables.
- Maintain and improve existing UI components and codebase
- Work closely with product managers UX designers and developers to understand project requirements and translate them into UI solutions
- Facilitate effective communication between design and development teams to ensure seamless integration of UI components.
- Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders for feedback and approval.
- Lead mentor and manage a team of UI designers and developers.
- Conduct regular team meetings performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment
- Implement UI/UX best practices and stay uptodate with the latest industry trends and technologies
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in UI design and development.
- Proven experience in leading and managing UI/UX teams.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous UI design and development projects
- Strong knowledge of frontend development technologies including HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and frameworks like React Angular or Vue.js.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and mobilefirst development.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical expertise in UI design and development
- Relevant certifications in UI/UX design and web development is preferred
