- This client is a wellrespected midsize litigation firm that is looking to expand its Workers Compensation Defense team and they are seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join their practice.The positionbegins inoffice and transitions to hybrid after an initial period and you must be commutable to downtown Atlanta GA.This is a fulltime directhire rolewith a great opportunity for growth within the organization.

What To Expect as a Workers Compensation Defense Attorney
- Manage a caseload of workers compensation defense claims from inception to resolution
- Represent employers and insurers in hearings depositions and mediations
- Oversee discovery and draft legal documents including motions and settlement agreements
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and assess risk
- Gain handson litigation experience with direct client interaction and courtroom exposure
Qualifications For Success
- J.D from ABAapproved law school
- Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia
- Minimum 1 year litigation defense experience preferably in workers compensation
- Proven ability to manage complex cases
- Strong ability to conduct depositions and manage discovery
- Outstanding analytical skills
