The opportunity
Join our Power Projects business supporting the Molonglo Substation project based in the ACT. As a Zero Harm Advisor you will be critical to ensuring Downers Zero Harm strategy and processes are implemented and followed both on and off site keeping our people the communities and environment in which we work safe.
Please note although this is a local role the successful candidate will be required to work a 10/4 roster. A project uplift of 15 is provided on top of the mutually agreed remuneration package.
What youll do
- Coach Project Managers Engineers supervisors and field crews to successfully promote and foster a proactive culture of Zero Harm and environmental safety.
- Ensure application of Downer Zero Harm standards and legislative requirements to all work activities.
- Conduct observations site inspections and audits.
- Investigate incidents injuries or breaches of safety and environment procedures.
- Manage incident reporting within Downer and Client systems.

What were looking for
- Experience working within a projectbased Safety Advisor position.
- Prior utilisation of Health Safety & Environment Management systems.
- Minimum Certificate IV in OHS/WHS.
- Degree Qualification in OHS/WHS (advantageous but not essential).
- ICAM lead investigator Auditing (advantageous but not essential).
