Electrical Design Engineer

Your main responsibilities will be: 

• Designing and developing vehicle electrical systems including wiring harnesses connectors and terminations in line with Defence Standard 615.
• Supporting system integration and troubleshooting across electrical subsystems for armoured and militarygrade vehicles.
• Producing and reviewing schematics block diagrams and interface documentation to ensure reliability and safety.
• Collaborating with mechanical and systems teams to ensure seamless design compatibility and compliance.
• Assisting in component selection cable routing and electrical packaging for vehicle platforms.
• Contributing to design reviews compliance checks and test validation activities as part of a highassurance delivery model.

Qualifications :

Experience skills and qualifications required: 

• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in the defence automotive or aerospace industries.
• Strong knowledge of Defence Standard 615 for electrical system design and documentation.
• Proficiency with electrical CAD tools (e.g. Zuken AutoCAD Electrical E3.series or equivalent).
• Experience with wiring harness design vehicle integration and power distribution systems.
• Familiarity with militarygrade components environmental sealing and robust electrical design.
• Eligible for or already holding BPSS clearance.
