Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute contracts with ingredient and packaging suppliers to maintain supply
- Negotiate ingredient costs with key suppliers and reduce costs overall
- Forecasting and reporting the COGS portion of the P&L
- Work with Food Safety Quality and R&D to source new ingredients
- Work hard to ensure that cost nutrition sustainability and food safety guidelines are met
- Closely monitoring ingredient inventory levels to determine appropriate order quantities
- Build strong supplier relationships to ensure standards are continually met and improved upon
- Supplier sourcing and scanning to meet specifications
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- 3 years experience in Procurement/Supply Chain with a track record of purchasing in top food categories and related materials (Packaging supplies equipment)
- Rigorous datadriven/analytical capability & ability and presence to present data effectively to a leadership team
- Strong interpersonal skills communication and organization
- Possess strong presentation and relationship building skills
- Curious logical and action oriented
- Passion for working in a fastpaced environment and a proven ability to multitask
- Excel in a fast growing environment and excited to create new procedures and processes from scratch with a strong entrepreneurial mindset
- Be agile adaptable and thrive in a dynamic and changing culture
- Authorization to work in the U.S. required
