What youll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pickup truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Work handinhand with the Scout Commercial Operations team to identify the right suppliers to build and supply parts & services to build our sales aftersales and retail operations.
- Establish sourcing strategies for assigned commodities lead the sourcing process up to and including contract award.
- Lead crossfunctional teams to support the evaluation of suppliers via the RFP process. Work together and collaborate with the diverse Scout business areas.
- Act as Project Manager and Procurement lead.
- Prepare and execute commercial negotiations including contractual documents and nomination agreements.
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia South Carolina or Novi Michigan.
- The responsibilities of this role require4 daysattendance in office with inperson meetings and events regularly.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the companyfrom time to time.
- Travel: Domestic and international travel potential. Passport Required.

Minimum Requirements:
- 25 years in purchasing environment with experience developing and executing procurement category strategies.
- 25 years of proven trackrecord in negotiations
- 25 years of project management experience
- 25 years of knowledge of procurement systems (SAP Ivalua Coupa etc.
- Experience in SAP or other similar systems
- Strong experience managing supplier performance
- Ability to develop nurture andmaintain excellent stakeholder and partner supplier relationships
- Thorough knowledge of automotive manufacturing or related industries
- Ability to take on additional special projects in addition to standard responsibilities.
- MS Office Suite Experience
- Bachelors degree in business engineering or other relevant area.
- Valid drivers license
Preferred Qualifications:
- 25 years of experience in Sales After sales and Retail service categories focused on Automotive Industry.
- 25 years of experience in supporting launch of new retail locations.
- 25 years of experience in Indirect Procurement
- 25 years of experience in Automotive Industry particularly in launch startup or new model programs

Pay Transparency
This is a fulltime exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidates skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range $120000.00 $135000.00
Internal leveling code: IC8
