Job Description
As a Senior Engineer with the Collaboration team you will be responsible for designing and building services to help game creators work together and collaborate creatively. You will be solving problems of scale architecture design and communication to develop software which will allow larger and better collaboration between large teams of developers and artists in the Roblox community. One of the areas will be around our flagship Team Create product which enables creators to collaborate in realtime with friends and coworkers. The ideal candidate has fullstack knowledge experience on largescale systems enjoys solving complex software problems and has a passion for mentoring other engineers on the team.

You Will:
- Help and understand the needs of the community that uses our software from beginning artists to professional scripters and designers.
- Take ownership and responsibility for designing building testing and deploying services within the Roblox ecosystem.
- Work on a variety of unique technical challenges within complex systems.
- Be a technical barraiser for high code quality architectural designs and longterm planning
- Mentor and develop fellow engineers on the team
You Are:
- An outstanding software engineer with 7 years shipping high complexity code
- Experienced architecting designing and leading implementation of a wide array of software products
- Experienced supporting missioncritical applications at scale
- Proficient in C# C Java Python or similar programming languages
- Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases at scale
- You understand the components required to build modern largescale infrastructure. You can recommend one route versus another and bring engineers to an agreement.
- Expert in componentbased libraries and frameworks with a commanding grasp of building performant user flows.
- Familiar with QT/QML MFC or other frameworks for desktop applications is a plus but not required.
