We have operations all over the world including production facilities located in Sweden United States and China. We currently have openings for Maintenance Supervisors at our Newport Arkansas location.
Purpose
The Maintenance Supervisor is accountable for ensuring sustainable mechanical & electrical reliability. Responsible for directing activities of the maintenance department team through daily interaction with staff peers and managers to ensure effective use of equipment and staffing. This position is also responsible for the training and development of staff ensuring consistency throughout department in employment matters and ensuring priorities are set and results are measured.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Safe Working Practices in conjunction with EHS Department
- Develop and Implement Standard Work Practices to ensure maximum efficiency is achieved on various shifts
- Evaluates mechanical and electrical systems products components and applications by designing and conducting research programs applying knowledge of mechanical and electrical and materials.
- Prepares product reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
- Provide Timely feedback on system issues ensuring production and other affected parties are informed.
- Recognize and reconcile any potential scheduling conflicts to ensure maximum productivity
- Conduct crewtocrew variation analysis and develop underperforming crews
- Resolve and or escalate critical items or issues to achieve maximum machine uptime
- Ensure preventative maintenance items are performed and sufficient
- Exercise superior interpersonal skills inclusive of Listening Empathy and Ability to adjust adapt respond to and be resourceful in the face of change to deliver business objectives
- Consistently strive for continuous improvement by developing & sharing knowledge with others
- Work in a safe and healthy manner adhering to all safety rules and practices.

- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate degree from twoyear college university or technical degree; and / or three years related experience and/or training.
- Strong demonstrated expertise in Electrical/Mechanical Systems Troubleshooting Project Management Database Design Analyzing Information Reporting Research Results
- Strong leadership skills (conflict resolution facilitation change management skills decision making empowerment and delegation) preferred.
- Able to lead problem solving and troubleshooting efforts associated with highlevel process issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Word Excel and Outlook.
- Good planning and priority setting skills.
- Ability to work well with others in fast paced dynamic environment.
