Air Liquide has an exciting opportunity for Field Services Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Regional Manager you will be working in the field and onsite to provide complete preventative maintenance services provide customer breakdown support diagnose faults and carryout repairs of Air Liquide Australia (ALA) owned or ALA serviced equipment. The customer sites and equipment are concentrated around the Mackay region and surrounding area.Ensuring the equipment or process being attended to is safe and fit for purpose
Carrying out works on equipment or processes as required by management in a timely and efficient manner
Fault finding diagnoses formulation and delivery of corrective actions whilst minimizing need for rework
Maintaining company assets to help preserve service life
Escalating problems to engineers
Attending service calls and be available for oncall work as required
Executing work orders efficiently following Maintenance scheduler plan
One of the following trade qualifications: Mechanical Fitter; Gas Fitter
Forklift Elevated Platform and Confined Spaces Licenses (advantageous)
Current and valid State Drivers License (MR class Drivers License advantageous)
Current Rigging License (advantageous)
Strong safety mindset
Customer site service experience
Be available for 7 day on call roster per month and happy to travel
Servicing rotating equipment or air compressors
Serving instrumentation or automated systems
Working with gas reticulation systems and pressure vessels
