Job Description
- Collects drawings data and notes for a project and then creates technical drawings that specify dimensions production methods and materials
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure the accuracy of designs
- Evaluate existing drawings and develop new and improved drawing
- Troubleshoot drafting issues
- Ensure drawings meet industry standards and specifications
- Create manage and maintain accurate bills of materials (BOMs) used to manufacture products using ERP software.
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure BOMs reflect the latest company specifications
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and interface effectively with fellow team members
- Associates degree in engineering or equivalent experience
- Ability to read and interpret drawings bulletins and supplemental instructions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Requires the ability to sit / stand for long periods of time.
- May be required to occasionally carry and /or lift to 50 pounds.
